Qasr el Sagha, a megalithic temple structure located north of Lake Qarun in Wadi el Hitan, is shrouded in mystery. The sandstone blocks are megalithic, though not perfectly aligned; yet, a video I recently watched by Yousef Awyan reveals a floor level more even than my own kitchen counter, resembling the blocks found on the Giza Plateau.
It is unclear the age of this structure as there is debate to whether it could be Middle Kingdom, old kingdom or even older and or its true purpose. The alignment is interesting and may or may not have any significance whatsoever but for entertainment purposes, they are below.
Examining the coordinates of Qasr el Sagha (29°30′N 30°30′E) in relation to the Great Pyramid (29.9792°N 31.1342°E) and the Great Sphinx (29°58′30″N 31°08′15″E), valley Temple of Kahfre 29.975, 31.14 29°58’30” N 31°8’24” E. we find they are surprisingly close. Just an observation from me.
While many videos discuss this structure, I’d like to offer an esoteric perspective. Consider this quote: “I am One who becomes Two; I am Two who becomes Four; I am Four who becomes Eight; I am the One after that.” This reflects the concept of the ogdoad—the eight primordial deities—and the binary creation story, following a doubling sequence (1, 2, 4, 8, 16), which ultimately leads to a higher octave when it reaches 512 (5+1+2=8), symbolizing a return to the torus. This progression ties into the seven chakras, suggesting a path to higher consciousness.
This temple is likely dedicated to NTR Sobek, the deity representing strength, fertility, and rebirth, often associated with the Nile’s creation and the control of water for soil fertilization. Sobek embodies the interplay between our higher and lower selves (as above, so below), signifying the balance of light and dark.
Within the temple, there are seven niches, one side concealed while the other remains open. As I moved through these spaces, I sensed connections to specific emotions and outdated beliefs needing release. Approaching the enclosed area seemed to elevate my consciousness, leading to the idea that after seven comes eight—a new level of awareness, deeper understanding of self, and greater existence.
The hidden room might represent the duality of lower consciousness and the journey toward embodying Horus, symbolising the hero’s journey and our higher selves.
